What Are the Common Forms of Monel 400 Material?

What Is the Difference Between Monel 400 and Monel 500?

Monel 400 achieves its strength through solid solution strengthening, where a solid solution of nickel and copper enhances its mechanical properties. In contrast, Monel K-500 gains its strength through precipitation hardening which involves the formation of precipitates within the alloy matrix.
