Summer ACE is excited to share updates with you as the program takes shape for Summer 2024. (updated January 2024).

Deadline: Wednesday, May 15

Submit the $200 nonrefundable admissions deposit, which signals your intent to enroll at USF and reserves your space for the semester.

Orientation

Orientationis your opportunity to experience what it's like to be a USF student, both in and out of the classroom. During your Orientation, you will interact with current Bulls, hear about USF resources, speak with an academic advisor, and learn ways to get involved on campus.ACE students should attend the July 5th New Student Orientation. ACE students are required to register themselves for Orientation and pay the registration fee. Students admitted into the ACE program should attend the Orientation session designated for ACE on July 5th.Parents and families are encouraged to sign up for the Parents and Families* orientation session.

*Parents and Families orientation has an additional fee.

Housing

Summer ACE students have the option to live on-campus during the program. Students will need to complete USF Housing’s application process to live on campus during the Summer ACE program (July 3 to Aug 2).

During the Summer ACE term, ACE students will live in Cypress Hall apartments. Each apartment style unit offers four single bedrooms, shared living and kitchen areas and two bathrooms.Please check the USF Housing website for information aboutamenities, room dimensions, pictures, floor plans, etc.

During the fall and spring terms, ACE students have the option to live in residence hall reserved for the ACE community located in Poplar Hall. Suites in this hall consist of two double-occupancy bedrooms and one bathroom.

Alternatively, ACE students can choose any available room for freshman or apply for one of the Living Learning Communities for the fall and spring terms.

The first step to living on campus is to complete the housing application in thehousing portal. if you would like to live on campus during the Summer ACE term, you will need to complete a Summer ACE housing application (and pay the $50 application fee). If you want to live on campus during the fall semester, you will also need to submit a Fall/Spring housing application (and pay the $50 application fee). You only need to reserve a single Orientation session. Please review thehousing agreementfor full agreement and terms. Please note: the $50 fee will be billed to your OASIS student account one business day after you complete the housing application. Please note, your admission deposit does not pay the $50 housing application fee. You will need to make a separate payment for the housing application fee.

Beds on campus are limited, so we encourage students to apply early if you are interested in living on campus.

Mentors

Over the summer, you'll meet our ACE Mentors. Mentors are available to help connect you to resources for any academic or transitional needs throughout the program, and they will check in with you periodically to help your transition into college life.

Summer Programming

In addition to ACE student programming facilitated on campus by the mentor staff, USF offers the programs sponsored by New Student Connections, campus departments, and student organizations.
